KCU Founding Anniversary Marked in DPRK

Schoolchildren in the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea significantly celebrated the 78^th founding anniversary of the Korean Children’s Union.

They paid floral tribute to the statues of Generalissimos Kim Il Sung and Kim Jong Il across the country.

Joint meetings, KCU organizations’ sessions, meetings of juvenile activists exemplary in displaying traits and stages of pride of KCU members took place at the youth league committees of provinces, cities and counties and the children’s union organizations at schools.

Schoolchildren’s performances, dancing parties and sports and amusement games took place across the country, revving up the atmosphere of the holiday.

Leading officials of Party and power organs of provinces, cities and counties congratulated the KCU members on celebrating the holiday.
